Thank you for booking a reading with Shellie’s Beyond Boundaries. This policy explains how bookings, changes, cancellations and refunds work, so everyone knows what to expect.

Booking and payment

Your session is confirmed once your booking is made and payment is received. Payment is taken in advance through Square. Prices are in Australian dollars.

Changing your appointment

If you need to reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours before your session by emailing shelliesbeyondboundaries@hotmail.com. Rescheduling with this notice is free, and we will find another time that suits you.

Cancelling your appointment

• If you cancel at least 48 hours before your session, you will receive a full refund, or you may choose to move your booking to another date.
• If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, a 50% cancellation fee may apply, or you may be offered one reschedule at Shellie’s discretion.
• If you do not attend your session without letting us know, the session fee is not refundable.

For shared spirit circles and group sessions, please let us know as early as you can if the number of people attending changes.

Late arrivals

Sessions run for the booked time. If you arrive or join late, your session may need to finish at its scheduled end time so that the next client is not affected.

If Shellie needs to cancel

Occasionally Shellie may need to cancel or move a session due to illness or unforeseen circumstances. If this happens you will be offered a new time or a full refund.

If a connection does not come through

Shellie will always be honest with you and will not force a reading. If a specific loved one does not come through, or the session cannot proceed, a follow-up session may be offered at no extra cost. As readings are an intuitive experience and no particular outcome can be promised, refunds are not usually given because of the content of a reading. Please speak to us if you have any concerns about your session and we will do our best to make things right.

Technical problems with online sessions

For Zoom sessions, please check your internet connection and device before your appointment. If a technical issue on our side prevents your session from going ahead, we will reschedule it or refund you. If the issue is on your side, we will try to resolve it quickly, but the session time may be shortened.

Your rights under Australian law

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a service is not provided with due care and skill, or is not provided as agreed, you may be entitled to a remedy, including a refund in some cases.

How to request a refund or make a change

Email shelliesbeyondboundaries@hotmail.com with your name, the date of your booking and what you would like to change. Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, usually within 5–10 business days.

These terms apply to your use of the Shellie’s Beyond Boundaries website and to any reading, workshop or event you book. Shellie’s Beyond Boundaries is operated by Shellie Coan (ABN 31 649 545 871), based in Jamberoo, New South Wales, Australia. By booking a service or using this website, you agree to these terms.

1. Our services

We offer psychic medium readings, numerology readings, tarot readings, shared spirit circles, workshops and events, in person in Jamberoo NSW and online by Zoom. Details, durations and prices are listed on our Services page and may change from time to time. The price shown when you book is the price you pay.

2. The nature of readings

Readings are provided for guidance, comfort and entertainment. They are based on Shellie’s intuitive and spiritual abilities. They are not scientifically proven, and no particular result, message or connection can be guaranteed. Readings are not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal or financial advice. Please do not make major life decisions based only on a reading. If you are unwell, grieving heavily or in distress, please also speak to a doctor, counsellor or other qualified professional.

3. Who can book

Our services are for people aged 18 and over. People under 18 may only attend with a parent or guardian’s permission and presence.

4. Bookings, payments and cancellations

Bookings are subject to availability and are confirmed when payment is received. Changes, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

5. Respectful conduct

We ask that all sessions are approached with respect. Shellie may end a session early if a person is abusive, threatening or disrespectful, in which case no refund will be given.

6. Recordings

Online sessions can be recorded on request. Recordings are for your personal use only. You may not share, publish, sell or post them publicly, or use them in any way that identifies Shellie or others, without written permission. In-person sessions are not recorded, but you are welcome to take notes.

7. Confidentiality

What you share in a session is treated as private. We will not disclose it to anyone else, except where required by law or where we reasonably believe someone is at risk of serious harm. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle personal information.

8. Testimonials

Testimonials on this website are the personal experiences of individual clients. Your own experience may be different.

9. Website content

The content on this website, including text, photos and branding, belongs to Shellie’s Beyond Boundaries and may not be copied or reused without permission.

10. Limits on our responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for decisions you make based on a reading, or for loss or damage arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this website at the time you book is the version that applies to your booking.

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

Shellie’s Beyond Boundaries respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

• Contact details: your name, email address and phone number (if you provide it)
• Booking details: the reading or event you book, your preferred time, and any notes you choose to share with us
• Payment details: payments are processed by Square. We do not see or store your full card details
• Newsletter details: your email address, if you choose to subscribe
• Recordings: audio or video of an online session, only if you ask for one
• Website data: basic information such as your device, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies and analytics tools on our website
• Anything else you choose to tell us when you email, message or speak with us

Why we collect it

We use your information to take and manage your booking, provide your reading, send confirmations and reminders, process payments, respond to your questions, and (only if you have agreed) send you news about events and workshops. We also use website data to understand how the site is used and to improve it.

Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We only share it with trusted providers that help us run our business. These providers may store information on servers outside Australia, including in the United States. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Newsletters and marketing

We will only send you marketing emails if you have signed up or otherwise agreed. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to remove you at any time.

Cookies

Our website uses cookies and similar tools to make the site work and to understand visitor activity. You can change your browser settings to block or delete cookies, although some parts of the site may not work as well as a result.

Keeping your information safe and how long we keep it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep booking and payment records for as long as needed for our business and legal obligations (generally 7 years for financial records). We will delete or de-identify other information when we no longer need it.

Accessing or correcting your information

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing shelliesbeyondboundaries@hotmail.com.

Complaints
